Wale is my Valentine 💙🌙

Doors don’t open until 8 and well it’s coldddddddddd outside! I think my new retainers make my teeth shiver really hard and loud. It’s only 7:38. I’m about to cry !! We have 15 more minutes of standing in this line. Lawd, I better get a good spot up close 😂.

You know how people like to be early for movies that’s how I feel about concerts.

It’s 8:16. I’m a human popsicle!

I’m in line texting my sister trying to distract myself from how cold it is. I think my knees are about to give out on me. Folks look really cute with their boo!

I tend to do this concert thing alone and you know how much confidence and how okay you have to be with yourself to go to public settings alone....especially on Valentine's day. I’m in the venue, still cold...but warmer than before. After the baggage of today healthy coping came right on time. Glad I didn’t wear my best outfit.

The Believe Music Hall looks like a church on the outside, but the inside was cool.

Just like that I’m front row 😭. It’s suppose to start at 9 but we know how black people do.

The  DJ was great. I never got the name of the first performer that opened, but I was okay with that. However, Sy Ari Da Kid performed. I'm shook at this point and excited. He has this project called "After the Heartbreak" that my sister put me on....granted I was dealing with "heartbreak" when she sent it to me and I fell in love with the project. My favorite songs are Balance, Baggage Claim, No Relationship Advice, Before & After, and Blocked Again Interlude.I also finessed a free hoodie that was from the tour for this album. I was so happy!! "It Was Unwritten" is his most recent project that I need to listen to.

Atlanta loves Wale!! He texted a lot on the stage this time and had to keep checking on his daughter who was at the show, but he still gave a good performance. He held my hand and we sang the chorus of PYT together and that was the highlight of the show for me (my nails weren’t done so I slick fumbled the bag😂). I have so many videos that you can see under the 2020 Concerts section. Go check them out. I encourage everyone to see Wale at least once. When I saw Wale in October it was before the release of the new album so I really enjoyed hearing him perform the songs from the new album this time.

He did autographs at the end of the show and the people went crazy! I have to meet him VIP!
