Rod Wave was almost not the Wave
BRUH.
So Aliyah and I were late, but on time. The show didn’t start until 8 so there was really no need to be in a rush to get there. We also didn’t feel obligated to be front row for this one.
Note: 5 of us shared the biggest section in the venue!
Back to our new friends....Black folks love Hennessy and after last nights adventures we had no plans to drink, we didn’t even show our IDs to be able to drink. But here we are again 🥴...the bottle came with the section so why not 💀. We requested cranberry juice so we could only have that. 😂

The show was at Believe Music Hall. I parked in the same area as the last time and it was a very ratchet experience! The man wanted me to back into a spot that barely existed. I’m a professional so I made it work! I went through trials and tribulations, but it worked out. I was suppose to pay to park according to the sign, but he never asked for my money so I kept it pushing 😭🙃! It’s Sunday so let’s pray that my car is still there! We should have known it was going to be an interesting night simply because of the parking situation.
UPDATE: My car was still there. 🙌🏾
The parking man asked if we were going to the fair had no clue what he was talking about, but there is a fair in Mechanicsville right now. It looked cute!
We get in line for them to check our bags/wallets and Aliyah can’t find her ticket. We tried to finesse (well we thought about it) but it wasn’t going to work. We honestly aren’t sure if my sis ever bought her ticket frfr. I was going to just miss the show, because I didn’t want to just leave her. Tickets were only $25, so I wouldn’t have been hurt about that.
These black people walk up needing tickets too and the lady was like “Y’all can get a section, the show is sold out....we are at capacity”. She didn’t even offer us (Lí and I) the section. We probably looked like we couldn’t afford one (please see image below 💀). However, black people are great!

So we go in on a section with them, they were cool af! Dude was dressed in Armani with gold chains and a gold grill...and his girl and her friend had on nice outfits too. Lol
Just like that we are now VIP! From struggling to VIP, a real come up!
Security: Y’all VIP ?
Us: Well yea

They escorted us to our section by going through the back door. We really VIP in this junt dressed like this.... ALIYAH AND I ARE NOT DRESSED TO BE IN ANYONE’S SECTION!
We really got a section for Rod Wave! 😂😂😂😂😂
We have to stop going places looking crazy in Atlanta because clearly we must stay ready so we never have to get ready! 🙃
At this point we’ve only been in the section for 10 minutes....and well Aliyah and I are already kicking people out. These girls were blocking our view and the man escorted them out.

Oh they were sooo upset lol. The tried to comeback and they got escorted out again by the bottle girls 😭! Had they not been so rude when we told them we couldn’t see we probably would have let them stay. 🤷🏽♀️
Tonight was a sight to see. If you enjoy people watching, you would have enjoyed this one! Women were badly twerkinking, people where awkwardly kissing, and clearly people really loved Pop Smoke (he gives me Darth Vader vides).

THE SHOW WAS GREAT!!! The sound was so bad..., but the crowd LOVED him!! You can hear the crowd singing loud and proud in every video! The energy was amazing!

He performed for 30 minutes!! The show was good, but it really ended before 10:00 PM!! At 9:40 to be exact!! I’m in disbelief ! He came on at 9:10ish and was really done by 9:40....I don’t understand! He didn’t even perform the whole album! That was a disappointment for sure.
Some man opened and I don’t who he is, but his song included the lyrics of “Murder murder murder kill kill kill”....I will probably never bump that song.
We made it back home before 10:00 PM! We are hungry so we get Taco Bell so that we can watch Atlanta Housewives! Why did we order so much food for 2 people 💀.
