BLXST: No Love Lost Tour 2021

No Love Lost is probably one of my favorite 2020 albums. I accidentally came across Blxst late last year and I haven't looked back. I probably have a thing for West Coast artist. This is my go to album. The album is so good, I can't even tell the difference between the original and the deluxe. I typically talk bad about deluxe albums, but this one is a HIT. No skips and I'm not exaggerating. It was so perfect from beginning to the end...even on shuffle. Think I had a new favorite song every listen. I wish more people played it more. If you're reading this go bump "No Love Lost" x BLXST, please and thank you!

We stood in line for what felt like hours for this show then had to stand up for like another hour and half for him to actually perform. The DJ that was on set during this longgggg period of standing was weak. He would play good songs, but then would play the most random song that didn't fit the mood of vibe at all.  For example he would play all the turn up/hip/rachet songs then play Bug a Boo x Destiny Child. I HAVE NEVER HEARD BUG A BOO played in a setting like this. I was pissed. And his transitions need a little work, bless his heart. Imagine gong from Chief Keef to Bug a Boo it's giving "Go Home, the party is over...". I wish he had local artist opening up for him instead.....like 2-3 local artist to help kill time and so that they could have exposure. This was his first tour so I feel like he will learn as he goes.

S/o to Issa Rae for having his song be the theme song of Sweet Life. I was so excited to hear it as their them song and he was featured in an episode which was super cool.

MEN love Blxst. I feel like the dudes in the audience were out singing the women. Well Blxst does the Rap Sing combo so it was cool to hear the men give it their all. The guys were really singing they hearts out like they do to Rod Wave. Once the show started it was a vibe.

This was a standing room only show so I wore sneakers to be comfortable.  The Masquerade has either expanded or this was my first time at The Masquerade: Hell. This is my favorite venue so any other show I been to was located in The Masquerade: Heaven. The show was great. The sound was great. I really enjoyed everything about it once it finally started. They also have a good COVID policy in which you have to bring your vaccination card or have a recent negative test.

The masquerade has a parking garage connect to it (The old underground area) and I believe parking is $10, but the is also street parking if you arrive early and another lot near by ($15). Again this is one of my favorite venues so I typically go to shows here by myself often. I was happy Tara and Aliyah could come. Tickets were $26 so I had to go even if I went alone.

My only complaint beside waiting 2+ hours for the show to start is that I wish people were more respectful in standing room only venues. Girl, the "my friend is in the front" is getting old and the audacity to be rubbing and pushing on people to fit in a spot that doesn't exist. You should have can early and it's rude.

I'm also convinced that Mary Jane is legal in Atlanta.
